Coldwell Banker Park Shore Real Estate’s fundraiser for "Relay for Life"

“PEARL JAM”, “HEART” AND SEATTLE MARINERS SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITY

Port Orchard, WA-- “Pearl Jam”, considered one of the greatest “NW rock bands”, “Heart”, another popular Seattle based band, and the “My-Oh-My” Seattle Mariners will be featured at Coldwell Banker Park Shore Real Estate’s fundraiser supporting the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life”.

“Pearl Jam” band members Stone Gossard, Mike McCready, Matt Cameron, Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament and Boom autographed and donated an authentic Gibson Epiphone Blonde Cut Away Electric Guitar to support Park Shore’s Auction on April 30th from 9-5. “Pearl Jam” also donated two autographed CDs “Love at Benaroya Hall, Seattle, Oct 22, 2003” and “Lost Dogs”. Ann and Nancy Wilson of “Heart” lent a helping hand too by autographing and donating two of their more popular CDs, “Dream Boat Annie” and “bebe le strange”.

Mariner’s catcher, Dan Wilson, new first baseman Richie Sexson and Port Orchard’s own utility player, Willie Bloomquist, autographed and donated baseball bats to support the event which will be in the Park Shore Real Estate’s parking lot at 4235 SE Mile Hill Drive, Port Orchard on April 30th from 9-5. A variety of other locally donated items and services will also be available for sale or auction.

Designed to appeal to a variety of interests, this “Farmer’s Market” will also feature laminating services, bake sale, car wash, and a $1 raffle for a radio-controlled Harley Davidson motorcycle. Local businesses have also donated a number of items including a round of golf for two at McCormick Woods with cart and choice of tee time, a basket of paint supplies, red flyer wagon with flowers & plants, take-home teeth bleaching kit, potted trees, and much more. All proceeds for the event support the American Cancer Society’s research, education and advocacy efforts. This year’s South Kitsap Relay for Life will be held on June 10-11 at the S.K. High School.
